Help

What are the computer system requirements?

Minimum: A PC running Windows 98 or above with Windows Media Player 7 or above, or a Mac with Mac OSX and iTunes 4 or above.

What quality do the downloads come in?

MP3 encoded usually at 320kbps (sometimes but never less than 192kbps). Graphic (JPEG, PDF etc.) downloads will also be available together with videos.

What is DRM?

DRM stands for Digital Rights Management - a technology developed to protect copyright, though it is less prevalent these days. Pure Mint does not incorporate DRM into its free downloads, so there are no restrictions on copying. However, we ask that you show restraint and respect the Artists, the Tracks, Songs and applicable promotions and copyrights. Thanks.

Will these downloads work on a Mac/iPod?

Yes the downloads will work with a Mac and be compatible with iTunes and iPod and all other MP3 players on the market.

I'm having trouble burning a download to CD

You MUST use Windows Media Player to burn to CD - other CD burning software will NOT work):
Click Copy to CD or Device
In the Items to Copy pane, select the track you want to copy
Insert a blank CD-R in your CD writer
IMPORTANT: In the Items on Device pane, click one of the following:
Audio CD or Roxio CD Burning
Click Copy.

Before tracks are copied to your CD, they are inspected and potentially converted to a file type, which may take several minutes.

What portable players will these downloads work with?

Different portable players support different formats, but all major portable players will play one of the formats (WMA, AAC) that you have purchased.
